Why Do Men Cheat on Women? A Perspective From a Cheater – Man

OK, So here we are, trying to give you women a dose of what it is like from a Man’s perspective. I have been reading articles from so many people and they all have one thing in common. They all talk about the cheaters but not one of them is a cheater them self. So I decided to put all your curiosity/ suspicions/ thoughts at rest. 

From what I am about to tell you, you are given 2 choices. You either leave your man or you change him while living with him. Having said that, lets crack on with the list of reasons why men cheat on women.

1. Childhood trauma:- Women complain about how their men cheat on them but do not understand the reason for it, the underlying cause for it. Hopefully if you understand the mind set and personal issues that a man had to face then may be you understand why he behaves in such a way. Here is my personal favourite of a child hood tragedy story. The father of the cheater was a cheater himself who cheated on his mother or it could be the mother who cheated the father. You can’t really blame your partner for his behaviour when the cheating has been hereditary. 
2. Past /Haunted girl friend problems. Your man cheated on you because he is scared of being hurt in the future. I can very easily relate myself to this. I got cheated by an ex and now i have trust issue with my future girl friends so I am forced to cheat on my girls before I get to be cheated again. Its a subconscious mind set. I am not doing it on purpose.
3. May be its not really called Cheating:- This is again something I faced in the past. An ex girl friend blamed me for cheating on her by sleeping with some one else. But I felt good with my action, because although I did not mean to do this, I was happy with my action because I met the girl of my dreams. Isn’t that what every one wants? To find the person you were meant to be with, at least for a limited period of time before you move on. I was not happy with my ex and that took a side effect of me cheating on her. I am not happy with the cheating but I am happy with meeting my new girl.
4. Out of Revenge:- Oh yea, the cold blooded revenge seeker. I have a few friends who have done it with their girls. They don’t hate their girl friends but they sometimes can’t take it any further with the drama/ emotions/ whining. You women just don’t understand how the minds of men work. We do not like to deal with your emotional trauma but we some times do not have a choice and so because of sexual frustration or anything else, we take revenge on you by sleeping around. Be careful for these types. Lucky for me I did not have to be one of them.
5.  Your just not my type but I can’t tell you that and see you get hurt:- I love this one! because the guy is too sensitive to hurt you and instead resorts to take the first steps on moving on by sleeping around. In most cases you would find that this type of a guy would just stop calling you and move on, hoping you get the hint and leave him alone.

I wonder why women whine so much about their cheating boy friends/ husbands/ partners, when the reasons for it was in someway started by the women themselves.

If you think your man is cheating on  you for some reason then have a look at the above, it could probably mean a combination of the above reasons. I would love to represent the world of cheating guys but I think I will give that post to some one else for now. On behalf of all the cheating Men out there, I would like to apologise for the sufferings we have caused to all you- women out there and hope you understand that we did not intend to do it or if we did intend to do it, then there are good reasons for it.
