With today’s modern American women gaining so much independence, power, and money they have now positioned themselves to be in charge of their households, their families, and their men. Statistics bear this truth out in many ways. At this point in time in our society women are more successful than men in business, finances, holding down a job, political power, marriage, and relationships in general. Women are now considered the “new man of the house” according to recent polls by credible sources. The gains that women have made over the past 30 years has altered the American landscape.  

Men resent women women who exert their dominance over them. They may not outright do it but in one way or another they do not like the fact that women are now in positions of power and status. This is especially true in the area of relationships. Men need to feel like men. When a woman doesn’t allow her man to lead because she feels he’s incompetent or that he’s just not more “qualified” than her, this causes men to rebel against her. One of the ways that he does this is by getting involved in a secret love affair with another woman. 

When a man works all week long and when payday arrives his wife takes his check from him, in many cases this causes resentment. When a man’s wife gives him an “allowance” out of the money that he has made working on his job, this causes resentment. When a woman in a relationship can never be wrong about anything and can never admit that she is, this causes resentment. A female who constantly fights against her boyfriend on every issue, even when she knows that he is right, causes resentment. A lady who can’t submit to her man at least some the time, this causes resentment. You get the picture.

Women can drive their men into the arms of another female through their behavior. Many females don’t believe that their behavior is actually pushing men toward this situation but many men are frustrated with dealing with certain characteristics of the new modern American woman.

Again, it’s never acceptable for any person to be unfaithful and everyone who is must ultimately be held accountable for their actions. Still, sometimes people can do things or fail to do things in a relationship that can aid their partners in the process of being unfaithful. Men who have secret girlfriends have to be honest about the fact that they are wrong for having them and correct this situation out of respect for their significant other. Women who experience this kind of unfortunate situation need to examine themselves to make sure that they aren’t driving their men into the arms of another female. 

There are many other factors which causes men to cheat on their wives and girlfriends. Women just need to realize that their behavior can be a big reason as to why this might be happening to them. Upon realizing that they do have issues, then they need to find a way to make a change for the better.
