An Atheist in Action
by My God is better, stronger than yours! Although some people say there is only one God – if this is true why do people go to war against each other in the name of the same God?
Religious wars
Today, in year 2009, one-third of the total population in the world is Christian, one-fifth is Muslim, about one-eight is Hindu, and one-eight is nonreligious. Actually, how much and how many is not so important, because anyway, people still today are arguing which God is better, which God is stronger. Something like when children are arguing between themselves whose father is stronger: My dad is stronger than yours, he is a policeman (fireman), and father of the other kid is shoe salesman… that is the same with religion: My God is better, stronger than yours! Although some people say there is only one God – if this is true why do people go to war against each other in the name of the same God?
Atheists
Maybe the solution is in Atheists – persons professing atheism, skepticism, disbelief, or irreligion. Beginning of atheism is found in the West, but today vast majority of atheists live in Asia (Chinese communists).
Atheists in action
First in London, then in Barcelona… What is happening? Well, finally atheists took things in their own hands. If you find yourself in London or Barcelona (maybe you live there?) you can see city buses covered with an ad that doesn’t promote a company or some new product in the market. These ads promote, or it is better to say they are announcing that there are people who think rationally and critically. Message goes: “There is probably no God. So stop worrying and enjoy life”.
Choice
As always, choice is yours. But you should ask yourself this: would you like to go to war in the name of the same God or just enjoy your life? Life is too short. With or without God. Or war.
