Who was the Original Doubting Thomas?

It was Thomas of John 20:24-29, Who did not believe that the disciples had seen the resurrected Jesus an refused to believe so. “except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put My finger into the print of the nails and thrust My hand into his side.” Eight days later, Jesus came to His disciples again an said, “Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; an reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: And be not faithless, but believing.” And Thomas doubted no more!

Who were the Giant’s of Old?

Genesis 6:4 clearly states that a very different breed of creature once dwelt with Humans upon the Earth: “There were giants in the Earth in those days. When the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty me which were of old, men of renown.” Whoever these demigods an titans were, they were destroyed in the flood, though some scholars speculate that Goliath and His giant kin were throwbacks to those beings.

Is There Such a Thing as a Straight an Narrow Path?

Not in the Bible, anyway. In Matthew 7:13-14, the entire phrase is as follows: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: For wide is the gate, an broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: Because strait is the gate, an narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, an few there be that find it.” Strait in this context, means narrow, which makes the expression a bit redundant, though Jesus wanted to emphasize that the way to salvation is the tougher one to negotiate.
