If God is Real So is Satan
A quick look at comparing Satan and God.
I hear a lot of people saying they are full blown Christians but they say Satan isn’t real. I am befuddled by this statement because it doesn’t make much sense for their to be a God but no like “anti God.”
If Satan did not exist then all of human kind would be perfect, right? Yes remember in the book of Genesis Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the Garden of Eden, and from then on humans were never perfect. If there was no Satan then there would be no point of believing in God. We pray to God asking for forgiveness for our sins. Again if there was no Satan we wouldn’t sin therefore we wouldn’t have to ask for forgiveness.
If Satan didn’t exist life would be so very boring. Everyone would be equal and perfect. Sometimes in life the best times are when you “sin” I won’t go into much details about that, but life would be very boring.
So if you don’t believe in Satan but believe in God it’s definitely time to change.

satan is not mentioned in the old testament. it is a name that came to be associated with the personification of evil during the intertestamental period. what you are actually saying is that everyone should believe what you believe because it makes no sense to you if they dont. well i am afraid you will just have to get used to that. did you know that some people dont believe in god or satan? now calm down…

I like this, your right you cannot believe in one and not the other..their is one way to heaven and i don’t care who doesn’t believe..jesus is the way, the truth and the life..no one come to the Father except through him..others are going to find this out on judgement day. and the new testament speaks of the devil to..to you friend teachersmith i don’t think she is saying everyone should believe as she does..read the bible and you will know Jesus is the only way..

Your right teachersmith, his name actually was Lucifer, bright morning star. But the point she is making, which is made very well, is that it is ludacris for one to say they believe in a merciful, forgiving God, and not believe that there is a devil, which simply means deceiver. There would be no need for him to be merciful, and forgiving, because there would be no fall of man. And we only need to watch the news, or read the news paper to know that we live in a fallen world.
Everyone has the right to choose what they want to believe, but I personally will be putting my faith in Jesus, He is the way the truth and the life of my life…

why do you associate satan with lucifer and the serpent? perhaps it is ludacris to believe in a cosmic battle between a god and devil you have no evidence actually exist? people are evil all by themselves. people are good all by themselves. no god or devil neccesary. perhaps you are beginning to see the logic failing in your worldview? no devil, no god, no need for jesus, etc. take one thing away and it all falls apart. why do you think evolution is so vehemently opposed despite all the supporting evidence?

I am not an anti-God you fools! You are just giving me a bad name.
Just like you, I was created by God, and just like you, I am free to do as I choose… sometimes we have conflicting interests (I mean me and God, or me and you humans), in the same way that you have your conflicts. We are not very different… except for the fact that I am wiser, stronger and more attractive than most of you
… Have you ever considered how human-centric religions are? Why would you think God would love you exclusively when he created and entire universe in which you are just an insignificant bit of dust? GOD LOVES ME TOO! That is why I exist!
For as long as God loves his creation we will all continue to exist… But please don’t call me an anti-God, it might piss Him off and then he will give us a hard time… No, not really, he knows we do these dumb things. But let me stress that there is no such a thing as an anti-God.
God existed before the creation, and he is all powerful, ever present and omniscient. If there were two Gods (or a God and an anti-God if you prefer), he just would not be all powerful, nor ever present, nor omniscient. Therefore, there is only one God, with no other beings of his own nature but Him. So everything exists because of Him, and we -his creation- cannot turn against Him… it’s not like children against their parents. Don’t be misled by the non-sense -when taken literally- written in holy books trying to explain people concepts that are beyond humnan experience… Thinking that the creation can turn against God, is like thinking that an idea can turn against the person thinking it.
… Ok, if you consider as an example a ’suicidal idea’, that can make the person turn against him/herself, but it also kills the idea
Oh guys! If you only knew how much God loves you! And then you blame ME! … Do not listen to all those people telling you that you are walking bags of sins, and that you have to repent or be condemned to eternal suffering. They are just using your fear against yourselves. They are not really bad, they believe what they do, and they mean good. But your real enemy is your fear. There are many ways to conquer fear, one is knowledge.
Just to let you see that I am not as bad as they say, here you have two tips, and I will not ask anything from you for them:
1) My house is not that bad, and you would be welcome to stay.
2) God loves you, he wouldn’t make you suffer.
The catch is that you are supposed to love God. And I mean wholeheartedly… do not dream that just by going to church and praying you will be fine. He is smarter than that. People that do that, and then do not live their beliefs, are like men who treat their women badly, and then buy flowers for them – without any intention of changing the way they behave.
In any case, I am sure if someone loves you, and you love that person, you will act striving to please him/her and avoiding hurting his/her feelings… wouldn’t you?
You are not commiting sin when you do something bad, if it was not your intention to do wrong. That is a stupid, unfortunate mistake.
You are not commiting sin when you do something bad, without knowing it was bad. That is ignorance.
You are not commiting sin when you do not put your will behind your actions. If someone forces you to do something, you are not committing sin… now if you put yourself in a situation where you do not control your will, e.g. because of drugs or alcohol, then look in the mirror to find the cause of your problems.
… and the list could continue… but I also wanted to point out that you are not being good just by doing no wrong. A person who does no wrong because he cannot do it, or just does not know, is not a good person – the name for that person is innocent.
So guys, you have to try harder to be bad. I am feeling lonely in my house, all by myself. I want house-mates!

Satan is 100% real. He has been since the days of Adam and Eve in the garden. This is when he brought sin into the world. God had made Satan, originally as a heavenly angel. When Satan seen Adam and Eve, a desire for power came over his heart. So he enticed the two human beings.
Satan is very much “real”. He is currently the ruler of this “system of things”. Jesus never doubted that Satan is ruler of this world. Of course, God is the Creator of the universe (Revelation 4:11). Yet, no where does the Bible say that either God or Jesus Christ is ruler of this world. In fact, Jesus specifically referred to Satan as “the ruler of this world.” (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11)
