One Mantra Thousands of Solutions (Hanuman Chalisa)
The benefits of Hanuman Chalisa.
Are you feeling forlorn? Is your seclusion killing you? Do you feel that your Destiny has betrayed you? Do you feel you never got what you really deserved? Do you feel luck has never been in your favour? And above all do you feel dejected and have lost confidence in yourself?
If your answer is yes to a single question above, you are in need of someone to bring back the confidence and make you think in a positive manner. It can be anyone, your life partner, your father or mother, sisters or brothers and friends. If you don’t find any of them by your side don’t give up there is someone who is always available and you can rely upon him. “God” is there for you and help you out of troubles.
This article is for those who believe, God do exist or at least there is an unknown power somewhere around us who controls the universe and in doing so always favours those who are true in all sense.
Lord Hanuman was born in the Treta Yuga, to Anjana, a female vanara. Hanuman’s mother was actually an Apsara or a Celestial being, and her name was Punjikasthala. Punjikasthala had to suffer from a curse and hence she was born on the earth as a female vanara. Her curse was to be lifted or removed upon the birth of a incarnation of Lord Shiva. Anjana performed continuous prayers to Lord Shiva to beget him as her child. Lord Shiva was pleased from her devotion and granted her the godsend they wanted. There are a couple of stories told about the birth of Hanuman. The first is that Dasaratha, the king of Ayodhya was performing a Putrakamna Yagya in order to have a child whereas Anjana was conducting prayers to lord Shiva elsewhere. As a result of the Yagya, Dasaratha received sacred puddings which were to be shared by his three wives because of that puddings Rama, Laxman, Bharat and Shatrughan were born. A kite snatched a small fragment of the Puddings and flew over the forest. The kite dropped the puddings in the forest where Anjana was busy praying Shiva. Vayu the Hindu deity of the wind delivered the puddings into the outstretched hands of Anjana who consumed it and as a result Hanuman was born. Another theory is that while Anjana had just completed her penance she encountered the wind god Vayu. God Vayu was lost in the beauty and charm of Anjana and knowing her destiny he made love with her and as a result Hanuman was born, making Lord Vayu father of Hanuman.
