Politics and Religion
Religion is a multiple set of beliefs and practices that are organized around moral claims; in fact, it is a practice that is personal, related to a communal faith and to group rituals. This definition is considered as a global one, which you can find in most dictionaries, but these beliefs are most commonly the start of an avoidable war and vengeance between the three great religions.
Those confrontations lead us to many questions; do we all believe in God? Moreover, if we do so, why haven’t we mix politics to religion to solve this crisis?
First, if we made a simple comparison .we will find out that the generations ago were very comfortable sharing their political opinion in religious institution; mostly the churches .In the fact, those religious institutions got positive forces of persuation, exactly when it was a question about society problem, in some kind of social services.
Instead, the main new generation believes that the idea of relating religion to politics is very unacceptable, because it ends tragically, like the Sunni and Shiite in Iraq.
Meanwhile, desert religion give us fact that those religion tend to ignore, the fact that ”these religions have been divided even among themselves, more than against by another”.On the other hand a good word on politics was an ordinary essay which Steven Doloff tries to escape the real meaning of politics by deriving to the definition of a few political language expressed in the present days, called the Americanism. I wished that he is going to go through those words to give us a real definition of the politics, or just some identities, because politics as a word, needs more than just a few definition.
In conclusion, I found desert religion a very attractive topic, exclusively when he reminds us of the important presence of the feminine side ,and the role that this women can take versus the man .Also, it still for me hard to understand or to accept this religious war ,because this isn’t the way it suppose to be .So ,the politics here give many meanings of its rules ,and only for this reason ,the politic side have decide to leave apart the religion to the Sundays and the other day of faith. Suppose that this is an ultimate
Solution, why we still see those horrible images of religious war? In addition, when can we find a real definition of reality and justice?
