Proof

Proof that God exists.

Let’s journey back to late 1800s. People were standing amazed at breakthrough technology of the car. I can only imagine what they would have said. “Things can’t get better that this!” Then 2 brothers stated claiming that they don’t need wheels, or even a road. The Wright brothers claimed that air travel is possible. “Never!” people exclaimed. “Only birds can fly!”. This didn’t stop them. These comments did not change their belief. They did not yet have any proof, but nothing could convince them other wise. Then on December 17, 1903 they had their proof and the world again marvelled at the breakthrough technology. “Things can’t get better that this!”

Today we have cars that can drive themselves, planes that can carry hundreds of people at a time and heck. We even have a device that fits in our pockets and even lets us talk to people on the other side of the world.

If you were to tell people in the late 1800s that they would be able to put this little device in their pockets and that they will be able to speak to anybody, anywhere in the world, they would probably think you are crazy. “Prove it!” they will scream. And sadly you won’t be able to. Why? Well, because you do not yet have the technology or the knowledge to do so.

We are amazed at people who can make these little devices that make our life easier. I agree. These people are brilliant and I am glad they did all that research to bring technology into existence. They can make things that make life easier, but God can make life!

We now have the technology and knowledge to proof the existence of cell phones, but we do not have the technology or knowledge to prove the existence of God. We know He exist and nothing anyone can say can change or belief!

Good article ruined by the last few sentence. You can’t prove god exists becuase you don’t have the knowledge or the technology to do so. You seem to suggest believing in things that can’t be proved is unreasonable without proof but then go and negate all that by claiming that no-one can change your belief in an unprovable god. It makes no sense to require knowledge, technology and proof for things we know exist whilst believing in that which cannot be proved.

you seriously need to brush on on your writing skills. The last few sentences especially are explained quite poorly. Your line of thought is questionable, and you contradict yourself at the end. Hmmmm….

I just want to make it clear as to what I believe. I believe that Jesus Christ is the only God. I am a born again Christian and Jesus is the Lord of my life. If my article comes across as anything else, just know that that was not my intention.

What I meant to say is that God is so far above our knowledge that we will never have the knowledge to prove His existence. The only way we know that he exists is faith.

I hope this clears up any doubt.

I have published “Proof – Let me explain” to clarify what I meant.

the definition of faith is that which is hoped for but cannot be seen. it does not mean believing in that which has been proved false. superstition becomes conviction which in turn becomes fanaticism. keep an eye open for my next posting “Valid reasons to be afraid of Christians” for video evidence of this very point.

Prophecy in the Bible has been given to us to prove God is who He says He is. Everything that has been written has come to pass in it. And is still doing so today. This is why I am a Bible believer and will always trust in the Bible as being the true word of God. And that Jesus is the Son of God, and He sacrificed Himself to redeem us from the curse of sin and the consequences of death.

My mother (deceased now) used to say that all you had to do to prove there was a God was to look at creation. But with all the evolutionists trying to explain away this idea, this seems to be inadequate for them now. I still believe that God made all creation and mankind in His own image, and that the image of God refers not to His physical appearance, but His mind and character, also how He can think and reason about all things.
