I’d like to also make it clear that this man is NOT a Mormon or a Latter Day Saint. This group of people broke away from the Mormons many years ago and espouse a very different set of beliefs than the LDS church. His actions are devastating.

Warren Jeffs is an evil, dispicable waste of space on planet earth. He may be a prophet but certainly not a prophet of God. Anyone who preys on children serves a different master. SATAN.

Thank you everyone for your comments. This man from what I can find out about him was and is a very evil man. As Elizabeth points there are different branches of the Mormon church. Jeffs is the prophet of one of them. Some stories out about him say he has confessed to his cell mates to being a evil man and a pedophile and prays for forgivness. Pedophiles are not well treated in prison so I’m sure he is paying for his cruelty. As far as I can find, the branch he calls himself prophet of still follow him. They consider him appointed by God through his bloodline.

This man is not a mormon prophet, though he claimed to be. The LDS church does not recognise him as a member. Ruby, your articles are very interesting but I would really appreciate it if you could make sure to state whether or not the LDS church actually sanctions the things you write about. I would not want anyone to be misinformed about the mormon religion.
