There are plenty of online resources for the amateur student of world religion. Whether you would like to know more about the history of your own faith or you are curious about religion in general, these are a good places to start.

Understanding other religions can go a long way toward facilitating peace and brotherhood. The key is to approach the study of faith with a clean slate. It is not a good idea to try to understand one faith solely by relating it to another.

Christianity

Christianity is the world’s largest religion, with an estimated 1.5 to 2.1 million adherents. It began as a sect of Judaism in the Middle East. It has 34,000 denominations. It’s main text includes the Holy Bible.

I am Christian and what I like to do is research about those other religions so I can try to bring them the gospel of Christ, when you know what they believe, sometimes you can find a way inside to reach them about Jesus instead, that is what I do!
