Wondering About Jesus?
If you’re a true seeker, this can show you why we need him.
The interesting thing is that God was not trying to withold something nurishing or good from his new creatures, he was trying to save their lives. Sure, why would a loving God put a deadly plant in the garden? Aesthetic values? We’ll never know. It was there. Maybe he wanted to see if his creatues would trust him over the serpent. Whatever the reason, man trusted the serpent over God.
So what is sin? Sin is calling what God called bad…deadly even, good, and consuming it. Sin is also calling what God calls good, bad, in simple terms. When Adam and Eve “sinned” their eyes were opened. They could determine what they thought was “good” or “bad” without God. The problem was, God made the Earth and He knew best what was good and how things worked.
Christians believe that everyone is born with this inherited mindset, prepared to determine what they think is good or bad. Because Adam and Eve decided the fruit was good when he said it was deadly, they inherintly were in dissagreement with God. I’m going to call this the “seperating-disagreement syndrome.”
Christians believe that humans were created to have fellowship, or to know God intamately. In John, Jesus says eternal life is knowing him and his father (God).
Jesus Sacrifice: Reuniting
If you believe this, then you want to know God. Maybe you’ve been trying other things to get in touch with him. I’m going to explain how you can.
The syndrome can only be cured by blood. Stay with me. In the Old Testament, first half of the Bible, God said that he would pardon an offence against him only if the offender sacrificed an animal. Because animals could never truly fix the root problem, the “seperating-disagreement syndrom,” problem, God decided to send his Son. Jesus is the second member of the Trinity. He represents the body of God. The bible says God is a spirit. The Holy spirit represents God’s mind.
We are spirits; we have souls, and we live in a body. Because we are made in God’s image, we can apply this same reasoning to the concept of the Trinity.
Jesus comes down, fully man, fully God. He sheds his blood to once and for all heal our minds. All you have to do to get the healing is believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins to reunite you with God and to help you to live the God kind of life on earth. If you say that you believe in your heart that Jesus was risen from the dead you will be saved, or enabled to know God, which is eternal life, and empowered to have the life God ordained for you since before the foundation of the world. All you have to do is simply say yes.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and the only ways to get to the Father. But the Holy Spirit being the mind of God is not correct. No debate just pointing out an error.
