Better Sex: Laughing Yourself to a Better Sex Life

Everything, even sex, can be better with more laughter in your life! Read it and laugh it up!

No Laughing Matter…

Everyone I know enjoys laughing. Why? Humans have a strong physical response to laughter. All muscles, throughout the body, stretch, blood pressure and pulse rise and fall, and breathing rate increases. In turn, more oxygen is transported through the body in quick order. Research shows shows that laughter strengthens our immune system, reduces food cravings, and can actually increase our pain-tolerance levels. Overall, we improve our health doing something we like to do: laugh! So laugh it up like kids! Preschool and elementary-age kids laugh up to 400 times daily. Adults, however, only laugh an average of 20 times daily. Here are some more reasons to laugh a lot every day:

Laughing Balances Hormones:

Laughter boosts the body’s hormone levels exponentially. Endorphins and neuro-transmitters that reduce stress hormones like cortisol, epinephrine, adrenaline and dopamine are dealt away by just laughing. The number of antibodies (defenders) are increased and this would make laughing a good way to fight diseases…

Laughing Enhances Heart Health:

Physiologically, laughing is similar to exercising. Laughter burns calories and provides a physical and emotional release. When we laugh our abs tighten, our diaphram flexes and our shoulders shake. Through these actions we use caloric energy. Researchers discovered through tests that watching funny movies/videos has the same physiological effects on humans as a brief or light workout. In other words laughing produces better blood flow. Any kind of blood flow from exertion can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Laughing Helps you be Positive:

A positive outlook on life can do wonders for your health, and help you get through tough times. Having a positive outlook on life will help remove guilt, deter anger and negativity, and re-wire neural networks for more positive thinking. In short, laughing more will change your entire being! You’ll eventually think differently automatically! What can you not accomplish if you think positively? Laugh and be positive for a changed life!

And now to the Sex! Hmmmm!

Research over past few years has found sexual dysfunction in men, know as impotence, is mostly a physical problem of circulation to the sex organs. Otherwise known as erectile dysfunction, or ED, doctors and scientists used to think ED was mostly emotional. But according to modern science, tests prove now it is part of vascular disease, and could be an early warning sign of heart disease.

No one is saying laughing can replace medication for ED, or be the new “Viagra-like” treatment. But we can say laughing has no adverse affects to someone’s health like some medications do. For most people getting a doctor’s help with ED works well. Medicines for ED have been known to put relationships back “between the sheets” more often, and with better than prior to ED “results.” In addition, medicines for ED have replaced very invasive and expensive procedures in both time and money. This is a great thing indeed!

And let’s not forget the ladies. 25% of women reaching their forties experience less vaginal lubrication than the decade previous. 1 in 6 women (after age fifty) have a significantly reduced blood-flow to sex organs that can seriously affect sexual satisfaction, and harm relationships. Use of artificial lubrication can help make sex more satisfying, but what else can be done? Is there another way to help put satisfaction back into sex without messy lubes? The answer is yes…

We know there is another way to increase circulation that sometimes works better than treatment and medicines. It is consistent physical activity such as strength training, cardio workouts e.g. sprints, jogging, circuit training, power walking, martial arts, etc. We all know from hearing it time and time again that exercise will alleviate so many physical problems. Thus, since we know laughing is similar to exercise to our cardiovascular system you have to wonder: will laughing help me and my partner have better sex? It would seem to follow…Give it a try folks!
