Condom
whether the condom (slang šprcka šprcguma i) is a protective device that covers the man’s penis during sexual intercourse. Its purpose is to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Condoms are also called prophylactic, protective or colloquially as rubber. Currently, mostly made of latex.

The origin of the word condom (in English “condom”) is usually placed in context with Dr. Condom, or on behalf of Quondam, who was the personal physician of King Charles II of England .. Manufactured said condoms for the king. It is assumed that the king had at least 14 illegitimate children, so probably those condoms were not effective or is not used systematically to the king.

One of the first condom. These were made from animal vnitÅ™ností.První efforts to produce a condom included the use of woven fabrics, but the products were not very effective. First-effective condoms were made of sheep gut or other animal membrane and are still available for their superior ability to transmit body warmth and tactile sensation as compared to synthetic condoms, but not so effective in preventing pregnancy and infection. The first evidence of the use of condoms are made of ancient Egypt. The first evidence of condom use is located in the engraving in a cave in southern France Combarelles. [1] Around 1500, when outbreaks syfilických used linen condoms. In the same period comes the first use of spermicides.

Serial production of rubber condoms began around 1850 as a result of vulcanization of rubber, discovered by Charles Goodyear. Condoms were first produced as a washable and reusable until the advent of latex in 1912. First lubricated condoms began to be sold in 1957. Currently, condoms are manufactured in various sizes, colors, flavors and printing.  Before the mid-20th century many countries have banned the sale of condoms, and many subsequently allowed their sale “only to prevent infection. Local availability of condoms was often communicated indirectly to potential customers, such as advertising “rubber swabs.

Latex condoms are packaged in roll form, intended for insertion at the end of the penis and then pulled over the penis in erection. They are “good” and “wrong” side. Therefore, the first thing the user must do is determine which side is which. Any touching of the penis to the “wrong” side rolovaného condom before application potentially “contaminating” the surface of fluid containing sperm, in which case a condom should be replaced.

The first latex condoms were almost the same, but eventually started to have some end to the ejaculating fluid reservoir. One relatively Early innovation – the “short cap” – cover only the head of the penis, which meant a step backwards in reducing infection and pregnancy.

In recent decades, manufacturers produce many sizes, colors and shapes of condoms, including aromatic and special, which is expected to have stimulating effects. Such stimulating properties include enlarged end or bags for ease of accommodation remains warranted acorn and fabric surfaces such as ribbing or studs (small bumps). Many condoms have spermicidal lubricant added (lubrication), but it is not an effective substitute for separate use of spermicides (contraceptive). One method of testing condoms for microscopic holes involves placing a condom over the guide test form with another form of guiding on the other side of the condom. If the condom does not prevent transfer of electricity between the two guiding forms, indicating that defect. Stories about holes in condoms seem to be unlikely, if complied with adequate methods of use (description below).

Condoms made from natural materials (such as “lamb fur” – made from lamb intestines) are not effective at preventing infection. Few companies today also condoms made from polyethylene or polyurethane, which is believed to be effective as latex, but not sufficiently tested. These alternative materials are useful for those who have allergies to latex.

As a method of contraception, condoms have the advantage that its use is virtually no side effects and provides protection against sexually transmitted infections. There is a paradox in the use of condoms for contraception: its theoretical effectiveness is relatively high, but its actual effectiveness is relatively low. The reason is that many people fail to comply with appropriate procedures use a condom. Even touching the female genitalia the same (unwashed) hands, which was withdrawn with a condom can potentially cause pregnancy. In addition, surveys have shown that many users do not know how to properly use a condom, what is the effect of tearing and slipping a condom.

Therefore, condoms are only moderately reliable, and only in combination with a spermicide their reliability is comparable to other methods of contraception. However, even when using a condom combined with another method of contraception (eg, spermicides or contraceptive pills), pregnancy is still possible. The disadvantage of people find that they can interrupt the boot foreplay and tenderness. Some argue that limiting their experience by eliminating skin contact and reduce sensory stimulation (although women may partly solve this problem training vaginal muscles, specifically the pubococcygeus). Among others, these disadvantages of condoms are often cited as reasons why some people do not.
