Good in Bed

An article on how to be a good lover.

Most people enjoy exciting, fulfilling sex. Whether you are a woman or a man you probably have a fantasy of an ideal, hot lover. Someone who stimulates and satisfies you in accordance to your individual preferences. With a little luck you will encounter one or more people who will resemble your dream. We view such experiences as hot sex with someone whom we classify as good in bed.

We discover that being good in bed is somehow contagious. In other words, the hot lover provokes emotions we feel free to express. And this is what being good in bed is all about. Matters like good health, physical fitness, strength, agility, as well as knowledge and technique, all play an important role. However, it’s predominantly a matter of freedom of expression.

Physically it is beneficial to be familiar with the lover’s body besides our own. Athleticism plays a role because it creates a certain mentality in which one naturally uses drive and absolute concentration, combined with a strong sense of the body, and a centeredness of mind, body, and spirit. This in turn helps us feel more and stronger.

Intuition, and/or our instincts are awakened by highly passionate experiences. Sexual awareness and action grow more powerful and sensual.

A fantastic lover is the one with maximum confidence. He/she demonstrates a substantial talent to lead. Leadership in this type of situation bears aggressiveness along with the ability to surrender oneself completely, while maintaining control where it counts.

You must let go of fear and immerse yourself with a lover. Be courageous and do the unexpected by breaking new ground without going too far. Feel free to develop your own personal style to express your passion. If you are truly in sync, you can learn to get turned on and even climax during timeout or while pleasing your partner.

It is imperative to be free of shame and let go of any inhibitions. We assume that novelty causes excitement. This is correct, and yet we feel more free to share with established familiarity, comfort, and intense physical and spiritual chemistry. Really knowing and trusting one another helps significantly. It eases open communication.

You will want to express yourself physically, sensually, vocally, and verbally. For it to go smoothly, you need to be familiar with your partner’s sensitivity and boundaries. With enough tact, you can remain respectful toward the partner while being nasty (in a good way). Getting into it often includes sex talk. Try not to play. Instead say what you feel, what you see, what you crave. It’s hotter when it’s authentic. If you are an extrovert and enjoy a certain amount of drama, make sure it’s real and you’re feeling it.

Sexual belonging and longing shows wonderfully in the way we touch each other. Make sure you focus on feeling what you are doing, the energy you transmit via touch/contact. Know the sensations you are causing.

The majority of men can climax during lousy sex, and so purely technically they might not see the necessity for being a great lover, nor having one in the female partner. Due to higher testosterone levels men feel sexual interest in countless women. Because of this weakness they choose to separate the idea of a romantic interest from their (often unwanted) sexual urges. Later they may have trouble putting the two together. It may become difficult to express true and deep desire with the female partner. A fear arises that the result will be excessive vulnerability once he confesses what he views as his weaknesses.

A woman needs a lover she feels free with to let go and explore. Intimacy is crucial. Women need to be thoroughly taken care of, driven, given as much pleasure as possible. Being with a woman is a lot of work. A great lover will be generous, open, acknowledge her needs and her heat, show gratitude, and be humble and strong.
