Married Men Who are Unhappily Married

It is a sad fact that many people who get married end up unhappily married.  This is either because they rushed into marriage at a young age and did not think enough about whether they should wait till they are older or until they find someone who is more compatible with them.   Or because they got married with every intention of making it work with someone they believed they loved and who they believed loved them, and then found out that their partner was not what she seemed.  Either she neglects him or cheats on him or is not as interesting as they thought she would be, maybe she became lazy and does not bother to try to make him happy.  Nobody can blame a man in this situation for getting fed up, especially if he is the one who goes to work and earns the money to pay all the bills and he is providing for this woman who does not make him happy.

Now he has to decide what to do about it…  He could try cheating on his spouse.   He might feel that if his wife is not giving him the attention or sex he needs that he is entitled to see someone else on the sly.  Having affairsis not necessarily the answer though.  There are good things about affairs, the fun, excitement and sex,  but it can be draining timewise, emotionally and financially.  So before you rush into the idea ask yourself,  are affairs worth it?   Short term if you just want some fun for a few weeks or months they may be worth it,  but if you want something that is more substantial and lasts longer they probably are not.  You also have to ask yourself what sort of woman would bother to date a married man?!!  They are usually desperate where no decent single man wants them,  because they are old and unattractive and boring,  or they are hookers who charge for their time.   What sort of affairs do you want?  Are one night stands worth it?  The thing about one night stands though is that not many women are interested in them,  and the man can put a lot of time and effort into getting one and then the day after it is all over.
