How to Loose Your Virginity
A few handy tips on how to loose your virginity safely.
So, you have decided that you want to loose your virginity. The first thing you need to think about, is whether you are really ready. Are you? Or are you just trying to conform to society and what everyone else thinks that you should do? If you are sure and you think that you have waited long enough, and are legally old enough- then here are some tips to help you on your way to loosing your virginity and making sure that it is an experience to remember… for all of the right reasons!
- Make sure you are ready- I know it is something that keeps being bought up, but it is very important that you are ready for something as big as loosing your virginity. There isn’t an age law for nothing, your body needs to be physically ready for it as well as your mind- if you are too young then enjoy yourself, be a kid and stop thinking about something that comes later!
- The right person- the right way to loose your virginity is to find the right person, don’t go rushing out and sleep with someone that you pick up in a club- not only will it probably be really unsatisfying, but do you really want to do it with someone you hardly know? Make sure that you are in a relationship with someone that you trust- or at least a person that you have known for a while so that they can be sensitive to your needs.
- Be prepared- visit your local health clinic and brush up on tips about protection- pick up some condoms and think about going on the pill if you are not already, it is better to be safe than sorry, you don’t want your first time to leave you an unwelcome gift behind, do you?
- Set the date- pick and time and place where you can do it. Perhaps your place or his, prepare yourself and set the mood and agree on a date with your partner when you know you are going to be alone.
- Set the mood- invest in some candles (be careful with an open flame though!) and some soft, romantic music and turn the lights off. Change the sheets and have a nice hot bath before the big ‘date’ to make sure you are relaxed.
- Take it slow- don’t go rushing straight into it. If it is your first time, then of course you are going to be nervous. The chances are, your partner is going to be just as nervous so take your time and get to know each other intimately before you rush into anything.
- Relax- your body will tense up if you are anxious, so you need to relax and stop worrying. The first time can be nerve wracking, but once it is over you will wonder what you were so worried about!
- Practise makes perfect- if the first time doesn’t go as well as you thought it would, then practise! The more you do it, the better you will become… but don’t forget to keep it safe!
Hopefully these tips have been helpful to any of you out there who think they are ready to ‘pop’ their cherry- but remember- don’t do anything that you are not comfortable with, and take it slow and relax! Then you will be able to enjoy yourself and unleash the lover within! Good luck!
