Is Refusal of Sex in a Marriage a Sin?
This is an article that explains the problem with one spouse refusing sex to the other.
One contributing factor to divorce is problems concerning intimacy. We do not need any help in America increasing our divorce rates and this is one area where we need to be aware. I believe that every married couple should have a healthy sexual relationship. A man who wants to have an intimate relationship with his wife and then is rejected will most likely look for an alternative. This is not rocket science, but common sense. Reasons like a busy schedule does not qualify for a justifiable reason to not have sex. We need to plan our schedule so that our sex life is not invaded. Chances are we married someone we were attracted to in most cases! Granted, that person may have changed a little in appearance, but the sex life should not go away.
We also tend to lack the chemistry so in some cases, sex may not be desirable. That is an easy one to fix! We just need to go and read more about intimacy and go and make ourself more desirable for sex. I am always trying to improve my appearance even though I am sharp to begin with because I never want to get complacent that I do not need to improve for my wife.
Refusal of sex out of spite is even worst than all these. If that is the case, there is an explosion about to happen. Sex is not the only thing in a marriage but a good healthy marriage has a good intimate relationship. Therefore, it is a sin to refuse sex in a marriage because of what it may lead to.
