Men, Women, Sex and Darwin
About society and beliefs.
I disagree with her views not all men and woman are craved for sex. If you go to certain nations you will notice that it is forbidden in some areas and that this statement she makes is mostly a stereotype.
Sex is not something everyone craves, although that when you are teenagers your hormones kick in but what most teens are doing is not right. Most teens tend to go out and have sex anyway and this is what leads to stupidity. A self respecting teen would not crave sex at all. Take me for instance, I have been brought up in a Christian environment so I have no craves or need for that. We believe that sex should be something only for marriage. Only in marriage will you understand each other and it is apparent that the wife wants or does not want a baby. Just having sex because you crave it is not a good thing; it leads to unexpected pregnancy in most teens and the spread of STD’s such as Aids and HIV’s.
The stereotype of men and woman always lusting for sex is not true in many ways. You could go to some different countries and hear their views on it. Even though it would be considered a personal matter to most people but most of the teens having sex is from pure stupidity. The bible states about lust it is one of the 10 commandments. Lusting toward a guy or girl means you have already committed adultery in your heart. Carrying out sex before marriage is considered adultery. If you read the bible you will notice that craving sex is not what most people do.
As a safe measure sex should be saved for marriage and you should not do ANY sex related activities. A good way to avoid lust for sex is staying away from porn, playboy magazines, inapropiate movies, and sex oriented activities.

Really…This is probably one of the most ridiculous things Ive read in a very long time. While I am a Christian woman too, I also know that there is truth behind human nature and physical desires. Anyone who claims there isnt is lying to themselves. I dont agree with teenagers having sexual relationships at all. I dont even agree with the idea of having sex outside of marriage but I do accept that we are only human and there is no way to force the moral standards of some of us onto others and we are taught as Christians to lead by example but to also respect free will. Teenagers having sex outside of marriage does not lead to stupidity. Its a poor decision but that does not necessitate permanent stupidity on anyones part. Some people have to live and learn and until the parents actually take some control in their childrens lives, there will be more and more teenage pregnancies. Stating that “craving sex” is not what most people do, I feel would require a polling of some sort. Science and faith are 2 very different things. There are certain things about our bodies that we can try to control but it takes a desire to control them. Not everyone possesses that desire. If you look at the area surrounding us and compare how many people are actually married and how many are just having sexual relationships without marriage, Im confident, the numbers would be quite drastic in difference. Our divorce rate currently sits at %50 of marriages failing. There are reasons for this and until we accept that we are all responsible for the issues in society, nothing is going to change. We cant “make” anyone change their ways. We can only try to set the right example. I dont think running the ideals or writings of an author who was defending women in this sexist world, into the ground is setting a good example.
