More and more women are choosing to become prostitutes as a career option and also because of the amount of money in the trade. So why is this?
When many of us think of prostitutes we tend to put them into two categories. We either dislike them because they are drug addicts and seem to sleep with anything that moves, or we have sympathy for them because so many women are forced to become prostitutes and into the sex trade in general.

In an article at Skynews.com, a prostitute named Daisy, revealed how she treats prostitution as her job. Nobody else knows what her job is and they certainly do not see her as a prostitute. Indeed she did have to get into the job as a desperate measure because she lost her job before Christmas and saw an advert for escorts. She currently earns between 1 and 3 thousand pounds per week. Despite her needing to get into the trade as a desperate young woman looking for money she has now been working as a prostitute for 5 years. It goes to show that money really does talk.
What is shocking is that many girls leave school and rather than going to college or getting a normal job, they are entering into the sex trade and selling themselves for money. They simply see a handbag they want that would cost a week’s wages, but as a prostitute they can get it in practically one nights work. The appeal for young women to earn that sort of money seems to be increasing.

Even more shocking perhaps is that almost half of these girls are well brought up young women that have the brains to go to university and get a high paying job, but instead are becoming prostitutes just so they can afford to live a luxury lifestyle.
And dare i say with university fees increasing… the likelihood of more women becoming prostitutes also increases in my eyes. I have sympathy for the women that are forced into prostitution but surely the ones that enter it because of material things are just greedy and lazy?
