Sex After The Age of 60

Here you will find tips for a great sex life after the age of 60.

While the myth persists that the joys of sex are just memories for folks in their 60s, 70s, and beyond, the truth is far different. Too many older people, however are deprived of this vital pleasure by correctable physical problems, poor lifestyle and self defeating attitudes.When we reach a certain age, things like sex will be different. At age 75, you are not the man, or woman you were at 25..not physically, emotionally, or sexually. The good news is that your lifetime of experience and maturity will enrich the quality of your sexual encounters. Couples who have weathered the storms of life, or those who fall in love in their later years, have often become more sensitive to each other’s needs. Sex becomes a matter of mutual giving and sharing.

Here are 5 improving lifestyle methods for a great sex life after 60;

1. Exercise. If your stamina is limited, you can’t bring much vigor to sex, which is a good reason to exercise. Try to exercise for at least 20 to 30 minutes, three to five times a week. Brisk walking is the best exercise for most older people.Start by walking rapidly until tired, then rest and return at a leisurely pace to the starting point.If you have been inactive for years, or have heart disease,  you may want to consult your doctor before starting any exercise program.

2. Get enough rest. A well rested body is more eager and able to perform sexually. Try for seven or more hours of sleep a day. Take naps or rest breaks in the afternoon if needed.

3. Avoid alcohol. Several drinks may relax you and put you in the mood for sex, but can diminish your ability to perform. Even small amounts of alcohol affects you more than when you were younger.

4. Don’t smoke. The sexual organs, both male and female, fill with blood when arousal occurs, and nicotine interferes with this process by constricting vital blood vessels. Men who smoke may also have lower levels of testosterone.

5. Stay sexually active. If you don’t have sex regularly, desire and ability will dwindle.

You are never too old for a richer, more romantic, more exciting sex life
