Sex and The Disabled
Sex and the Disabled.
Most people do not believe that disabled people have sexual desires, so in return it is hard for some disabled people to deal with their own sexuality. The truth is most of all people experience some sexual desire on some level. Sex is a very normal and healthy desire and activity, but even in this modern age sex is a very uncomfortable subject for most people to talk about. The subject of sex I believe is especially difficult for disabled people; because we are thought to be physically unattractive by traditional social standards, but the truth is somebody’s ugly is somebody’s beautiful.
When you are unable to find a partner, it is okay to consider alternative methods, such as pleasuring yourself or watch an erotica video; please do not tell your PCA that Yvonne K said you should help me relieve my sexual tension. You should respect your PCA’s unwillingness to participate in this area of your life. Let’s face it your PCA probably does not get paid enough to help you in those areas of your life.
If you have a partner maybe you should consider fantasy role-playing or things you would like to try, even if they seem a little out there. You could discuss the use of bondage; however this may not be practical depending on the severity of your partner’s physical condition. Soft restrains are available, but like I said safety before pleasure. Some people say if you are truly in love then there is no such thing as bad sex.
