Sex Talk Part 2: Lingerie

After viewing a number of catalogs and online retailers who sell lingerie, I’ve come to the conclusion that, for me, such enticing and alluring garments are just not needed to get me in the mood.  Granted, it doesn’t take much anyway, but I just don’t see the thrill in it.  Sure, the colors and styles are arousing…satin, lace, and leather.  Some are see-through while others are cut just right allowing for the imagination to run wild in expectation, concealing just enough to keep the mystery going…at least temporarily.  Which I believe is the whole purpose, but over the years I’ve learned a few things.

I’ve learned that lingerie usually doesn’t stay on for very long before the need for nudity takes over.  It’s kind of like looking at a piece of rich, moist chocolate cake when you’re starving. You begin to salivate and your stomach growls and you can’t wait to jump right in and start eating it (no pun intended…ok…yes the pun was intended.)  Since I’m one for enjoying sex and prolonging the time it takes to orgasm, I feel that lingerie interferes with the process because I find more beauty in a woman’s naked body.  I’d rather have her display all her offerings without a piece of clothing blocking the exquisite view.

When I was younger…sure…I was up for a good show as whomever I was with at the time paraded around me, teasing me into a frenzied state, but now, a half-t-shirt exposing the bottom of her rounded breasts and a pair of g-string panties is good enough for me.  Throw in a nipple erection and we’re good to go…let the fun begin.

I guess over the years seeing so many breasts, butts, and labia, either in person, magazines, videos, or websites has removed my patience and desire to participate in that particular type of foreplay.  I guess I’d rather get started immediately and use the techniques I’ve acquired.  I don’t rush to get it done…I just make sure I do everything right so my partner at the time gets to enjoy the experience to the fullest extent.
