Sex Talk Part 5: Webcam Fun

But of course there is a downside.

Unfortunately some people do get emotionally attached because even though they’re watching someone on a webcam thousands of miles away, they feel that the mutual masturbation somehow is a substitute for a real relationship and that some sort of exclusivity agreement exists.  They use cybersex as a foundation to build a relationship, but it’s not possible.  Others who may be in a bad relationship in their real lives can also use a cyber relationship as a substitute, and I can see how that idea works temporarily, but long-term, again, it will probably never lead to anything substantial.

So why is cybersex and mutual masturbation so popular?

It’s a means of self-expression.  It’s a way to show yourself to the world and remain private, simultaneously.  I believe that the majority of people have some exhibitionist blood flowing through their veins.  Broadcasting your naked body to the world provides a sense of freedom in a world that otherwise forces you to suppress your sexuality.  You can’t talk about it at work, you can’t walk around naked, and sex is something to be discussed privately in a whispered voice, but c’mon…we all do it and we all love it, and I’m guessing that most of us don’t get enough of it.  Nothing can calm you down, mellow you out, or make you feel more content than a good orgasm.  And although many of us might feel that sex would be more special with someone we love, the reality is that chances are that’s NOT going to happen, but rather than abstain from sex and deprive yourself, use what’s available to you. 

There are plenty of people out there who are in the same boat ready, willing, and able to share an intimate moment with you…so go out there and HAVE FUN!!
