Sex with Yoga
Improve sex life with yoga.
Sex is an integral part of relationships in general.But in today’s time of fast life which is full of constant stress and pressure due to work and modern lifestyle many people are not able to enjoy the pleasure of sex with their partners due to physical and mental problems.Lack or absence of sex in relationships and marriages is a common and important factor which is leading to separation.
To improve sex life in relationship, yoga is a very effective option.Yoga is an ancient art of keeping mind and body healthy and resistant to various illness which leads to problems including sex.There are many asanas (body positions/postures)and breathing techniques, practicing which regularly, rejuvenates sex life.
1. Lotus Position :
Lotus posture means the body resembles the lotus flower.Just sit with legs crossed and foot placed on opposite thighs.Keep the back bone straight while seated in this posture and breath in a relaxing mood with closed eyes.Place your palms close to knees with index finger touching the thumb and other fingers straight.
2. Halasana :
Lie down straight on your back.Raise both legs keeping them straight and together and place them above the head.The hands are kept straight parallel to the sides.Hal means Plow, so the body posture resembles a plow.
3. Uddiyana Bandhas :
Stand erect with legs spread out with a distance of around 15 inches. Lean forward with hands placed on thighs or knees.Exhale to pull abdomen inward and hold for few seconds and then inhale and release the abdomen to normal position and stand erect.
4. Sirsana :
Sit on soles and place hands on elbow and lock the fingers, bend down placing the head close to the locked palms and try to raise the legs up folded and then slowly straighten the legs fully upwards.Its like standing on head with support of elbows and palms locked together close to the head.It requires a lot of balance.
5. Viparita Karani :
Lie down straight on your back and lift lower portion with support of elbows and palms and lift legs slowly up leaning towards the head as in the picture.Hold this posture for few seconds and return to normal.
6. Sarwangasana :
Similar like above posture, just keep the legs and spine straight up.
It is advised not to perform the postures without a proper guidance from a professionally qualified person as practicing the postures or excercises require certain physical conditions to avoid any complications.
