Sexual Intercourse: Sexually Starved Spouses

Welcome to the world of  “sexually starved spouses.” These are men and women who started out as boy and girl in “love”, but with little knowledge of what truly satisfying sexual relationships are made of. They thought all that was needed to make a happy marriage was the availability of the sexual organs.

With a penis and a vagina, these lovers thought that their lives could be rich and full of meaning. They believed this would be the case because both had the right body image: a great feminine figure for the bride and a wonderful masculine physique and persona for the male companion.

After marriage, however, it did not take them a long time to realize that they were destined to live in  “a sexual desert.” Neither of the two could actually prefigure the fact that that they would spend days and nights without sexual engagement. They could not even imagine the fact that their beautiful or handsome mate could for long periods of time not even agree to lay their hands or thighs on them – leave alone engage them in a discussion about their “unique” sexual appeal or prowess.

It is arguably hard to imagine that before these men and women married they had really successful sex lives. Many of them actually had had sexual relations with countless girls or boys they had dated – and this is not to mention many “one night-stands.” As sexually active youngsters these young men and women had actually been involved in the post modern sexual practice called “hookups.”

According to one Japanese youngster by the name of Akiko, “the only reason for your friendship is to have sex.” In Japan the practice is called “sefre” or “take-outs.” The same practice is also popular in the Western World – and not just in Third World nations. “With a hookup”, explained one young woman in one Western country about the practice, “its about instant gratification. You get what you want, then you can walk away.”
