Sexual Love in The Context of Marriage

The word “coitus” describes love making. Our word “coitus” comes from Latin “coitio”, the Greek word “koite” means “Cohabitation by implanting the sperm” means and signifies the relationship a married couple experiences in bed that they “cohabit”. Partners in “coitus” avail themselves of the possibility of God-given privilege of creating a new life, another human being, as a result of the expression of their love.

Love making to a man has several significant passions which are implanted in him:

1. To the man, being unsuccessful in bedroom signal’s failure in life. Sexual frustration brings fractured male ego. A man can endure academic, occupational and social failure as long as he and his wife relate well together in the bedroom, but success in other fields becomes a hollow mockery if he strikes out in bed.
2. Males have a continual sex drive, while the woman has a sporadic one. Scientific evidence tells, “each drop of seminal fluid contains as many as 300 million sperm”. Since it is possible for a man to have two to five ejaculations each day, depending upon his age, obviously his reproductive system manufactures a supply of semen and many millions of tiny sperm daily. If unreleased through coitus, this can be very frustrating to his mental and physical well being. A report has said, “A normal and healthy man has a semen build up every 42 to 78 hours that produces a pressure that needs to be released.
3. For the husband it is the most exciting he ever enjoys, at least on a repeatable basis. At that moment all other thoughts are obliterated from his mind, every gland, and organ of his body seems to reach a fevered pitch. He feels as if his blood pressure and temperature soar to the point of losing control. By this his breathing accelerates and he groans in ecstasy as the pressure breaks forth with the release of semen into the object of his love.

A man has two things on his mind when he gets home at night – food and sex – and not always in that order.

One way to understand the function of the female mind is to contrast it with male thought system.

1. Like the male, if she doesn’t succeed in the bedroom, she fails in other areas for two reasons:
   • a. Few men accept bedroom failure without being carnal, nasty, and insulting.
   • b. If her husband doesn’t enjoy her love making, he will make his disapproval obvious, and this is one reason break-up is done, and often one or both of them marries and or bound to result in live In’s.
2. She needs a reassuring love of her husband. A woman looks upon marriage as a perpetual companionship which explains why so many marital problems occur when a man’s job takes him out of the home for long periods of time. A woman never loses the need to be romanced. Most women crave kisses of appreciation. Lack of affection by the wife is sometimes caused by a husband who demands quick sex instead of slow love making. Some husbands can be satisfied with that, but most women are not.
3. When properly consummated to orgasm married love provides a woman with life’s most exciting experience. There is simply no experience comparable to the sexual act of love in marriage for both the wife and the husband who need each other to gain it’s ultimate rewards.

The partners who relate enjoyably to each other spend many hours in emotional and mental harmony in anticipation of the experience and follow it with many hours of mutual contentment and closeness because of their love. No powerful human encounter cements relationship more firmly than the sexual love in the context of marriage.
