Sexuality is determined by anatomy, physiology, psychology and culture in which a person lives, relationships with others, and developmental experiences throughout the life cycle. It includes the perception of being male or female and private thoughts and fantasies as well as behavior. To the average normal person, sexual attraction to another person especially with the opposite sex plays an important role in the development of a person. Whereas sexual attraction to the same gender is quiet a debatable issue.
Sex is generally a term that denotes anatomy and other biological considerations like chromosomes and hormones. Gender is generally a term that denotes appearance, behavior, roles and identity of a person. Many people consider that are two sexes and two genders that exist which are named male and female. However, both perspectives toward sex and gender is much more complex. The biology of sexuality plays an important role of sexuality but it is only a portion of the totality of the subject.

Sexual orientation equates to which sex, an individual is romantically or sexually attracted to, such as heterosexual (opposite sex), homosexual (same sex), or bisexual (both or either sexes). Gender identity is more of a social perception of the self by the individual, encompassing a view of the self as a male, a female, or a combination of the two. In some cases, individuals may not view themselves as either male or female. Still others who enjoyed same sex relationships have the freedom to choose which orientation they wanted to refer themselves.
Sexual identity is the physical view one maintains of the self, a view that encompasses males, females, homosexuals and bisexuals . It is affected by different factors. Social factors are determined through the environmental exposures and experiences.
Philosophically, the value sexuality is determined through its moral impacts.
Psychology really cannot say much about human sexuality without considering other aspects. It’s true that psychology is an important aspect of human sexuality. In fact behavioral issues are often associated with the psychology of sexuality. However it cannot consent individuals as to what sexual activities are appropriate or inappropriate.
One cannot just simply define sexuality by only considering the maleness or the femaleness. It is far deeper than what it seems. Sexuality and sexual behavior are related to each other. One cannot be defined without considering the other because both comprise of series of complex discussions.
