The History of Pornography
by If you think about it, pornography has always been around. However due to the explicit nature of pornography it has long been viewed as being obscene.
Pornography can, of course be obscene and quite vulgar at times. It is something that has always been around, however the internet has made it much more accessible now to everyone.
Before the internet was available as widely as it is today, pornography was generally viewed in magazines.
I am sure most men had a little porn stash in their room somewhere. However now the stash is most likely to be on their laptop or computer, hidden away in a password protective file.
Pornography is defined as pictures, film or literature having no other purpose than to stimulate sexual desire.

It may not be the history you were looking for, but is it really that hard to comprehend that pornography, as it is defined, has always been around. As long as man and woman, or sexual desire in general, has been around, so has pornography.
