Who Enjoys Sex More? Men or Women?

An article discussing which gender enjoys sex more.

When it comes to sex, if you’ve read any of my previous pieces, you know by now that, to me anyway, I don’t consider it to be an activity that is reserved only for two people who “love” each other or something that only belongs within the confines of marriage.  In fact, I’m not sure why they term it as the “institution of marriage,” but having been married for twelve years and later getting divorced, I can tell you that anyone who enters into a marriage should be institutionalized.

To anyone out there who might believe that sex is just not that important, then watch some of the commercials on TV.  Prolonging erections, penis enhancement, and products to enhance a woman’s sexual experience must all be figments of the marketing agency’s imagination and they haven’t conducted any surveys to see if there’s a market for their products…right?  Wrong.  Let’s not forget the condom commercials.  In those commercials they should use the same tagline as the alcohol commercials where at the end they say, “Please drink responsibly,” Trojan, Viagra, Extenze, and KY should also add, “Please have sex responsibly.”

The question then becomes, “Which gender places more emphasis on sex?”

The answer lies behind the doors of your local adult novelty store.

In case you might be thinking that such establishments are just for men, which may have been the case decades ago or maybe back then as a woman you had to be hush hush about your interest in it, in today’s contemporary society I believe the interest in products to enhance sexual pleasure is split right down the middle.

When you walk through the doors of any given adult store, the first thing that grabs your attention are the walls filled with battery-operated sex accessories for women.  From the very small that you can attach to your keychain to the very large that resemble a Louisville Slugger.  In fact, my observation has been about 3 to 1 compared to what’s available for men.  One of the more unique products is a mold kit where you can create a women’s ”helper” from your own penis.

Next, let’s continue our journey through the endless aisles of videos and magazines.  Geared only for a male audience?  Again, I think it’s a 50/50 split.  I’ve always wondered how all this media gets produced…where do all the models come from?  Obviously nudity and performing a variety of sexual acts in front of a camera is not a problem for hundreds of thousands if not millions of people, and again, I think it’s a 50/50 split between genders.

Although I think any guy is willing to show his family jewels, I also believe women aren’t as conservative as many people think.  “Girls Gone Wild,” wet t-shirt contests, and earning your beads down in New Orleans for flashing your boobs during Mardi Gras would validate my point on that issue.

Continuing through the store, you find a variety of novelty items, including a plethora of lubricants and flavored gels to enhance oral sex.  Some are good and some are not.  My recommendation is taste BEFORE you buy.  The lubes are rather pricey and some are really raunchy tasting and there’s nothing worse than getting stuck with something you can’t use - Most adult stores have a “NO RETURN” policy, so before you make the investment make sure the item works.

Last but not least, you’ll be able to find a large variety of lingerie, costumes, edible panties, erection rings (which work very well) sexy underwear, and other items such as whips, paddles, and harnesses.  An adult novelty shoppe is like any other type of store, providing a variety of products that cater to your sex life.  You should never feel ashamed or embarrassed to enter one because sex is a part of life as I’ve stated before and reiterate now…it’s something to enjoy and should be done at the highest level.

Before we all leave this planet, I believe we owe it to ourselves to experience everything we can…especially when it comes to sex.  Great sex is part of the human experience and you shouldn’t suppress your desires.  There are plenty of products out there in the market to enhance your sexuality so go out and try some of them.  Being horny is the same as being hungry, thirsty, or tired…a physical urge that needs to be satisfied…so like I always say – enjoy it…have sex…and HAVE FUN!!!

    All folks those
    Who want to be happy,
    It is my experience,
They may be men or women,
    Sex is the only fruit
    We all like alike
    Both sexes

    Those who are frustrated
    Do not enjoy anything
    Sex least of all
For them I have only one advice.

    Eat sex,
    Sleep sex,
    Think sex
    Also distribute sex
    Of course
    Claim sex
    From your partner
    Be he or she.
    Sex is the birth right
    Of every human being
    Except that we request
    And apply our minds
    Before we grab it
    Unlike animals
    Since they have mating seasons
    And cannot have patience
    Exhibited by normal sexy
    Males and females
    We call human beings

    Happy sexing friends

I think women and men enjoy sex equally, though a lot of women my age and older were raised to believe it was a duty to ones husband more than something to be enjoyed. Only BAD girls liked sex, and the like. I think young women today feel more free to explore and express themselves sexually.
