Concept: Communication and Consistency
Our speeches must go with our actions.
Communication and Consistency are very paramount to the uniform growth and development of the individual. Anybody, whose communication goes with a corresponding action, ends up getting an expected, fulfilling and fruitful result in life.
What would you think of a person who said something today, then happen to say something else tomorrow, contrary to what he had earlier said? I am sure you will say: “there’s something wrong with the person”. He could also be considered as an unintelligent and an unwise person because respect and dignity are earned mainly by speech.
That is how society sees it and there’s nothing that can change it. There’s something we call “foolishness” and there’s something we call “wisdom” and the mind has been trained to judge such situations expertly. As soon as you here something, you can tell if this is wisdom or foolishness. There’s no way one person can deny something blindly which is accepted by a group of people of illumination. Most of the time, the majority is right when it comes to human conduct, behavior and expressions. This is what I mean: There are acceptable ways of doing things and one cannot create his own interpretations to such reasonable facts. This is the concept of communication and consistency.
What is Communication? It comes through different forms. Human gestures, actions, speeches, statements, signs and body languages are all expressions of meaning of the word. But obviously, the one that fits this discussion is voice or open communication. What do we communicate? We communicate our life, plans, aspirations and goals. We also communicate our worries, beliefs and undertakings in life. Which people are involved in Communication? Communication goes on amongst friends, families, church members, people of an organization, group, sect or a fraternity and all these are modes and forms of communication.
There’s “one-on-one” communication, “one to many” and “many to one” as the case may be. A typical example of one-on-one communication is one that goes on between you and a friend and the interrelated ones are witnessed amongst families. An example of “one –to- many” communication is a presidential candidate of a political party’s promises to the people of a land. He’s bound to fulfilling such promises anyway. For “many-to-one” communication- we can make mention of a group of worker’s proposal or petition to a managerial head or a demonstration by action to show their disapproval. We would take a detailed look at all of these and relate them to the word: “consistency”.
