Definition of Beauty: The All Encompassing Concept of What is Beautiful

To establish the “definition of beauty” it would be best if we are clear on how we intend to discuss the term beauty. Since the word definition also means explanation or description, then what we aim to establish here is beauty in its all encompassing concept and not just the physicality of a person described as beautiful. 

For this purpose, let us take a closer look as to what we often find as beautiful and the essence of the beauty we find in them. Perhaps we will be able to formulate the most comprehensive definition of beauty.  

The Definition of Beauty in Babies

Babies are generally described as beautiful regardless of race or color. Most manufacturers of beauty products will liken it’s achievement as being able to keep a woman’s skin as soft and smooth as a baby’s or as healthy looking and rosy as a baby’s complexion. In addition, a baby’s smile can be the most captivating because it radiates happiness in the purest form. Based on this, the definition of beauty in babies refers to the pureness of their qualities.  

The Definition of Beauty in Mothers

In a child’s eyes, his or her mother is the most beautiful person living on earth. Mothers possess the qualities of love, warmth, kindness and caring. All these traits are also pure in nature because a child does not base his definition of beauty in his mother’s physical attributes but on the pure love he gets from her.

Nature by itself means natural, raw, organic that springs out from God-given resources. It can take any form, size and color yet the very fact that it took its characteristics by natural formation leaves any one who beholds it in awe and amazement. It can be as majestic as a mountain or as microscopic as a snowflake. It can be as colorless as water or as colorful when water breaks into a prism of rainbow colors. The definition of beauty in nature is the mystery and science behind all their physical attributes and how it can move us into capturing its beauty into photographs which we can always gaze upon with wonderment.                         

The Definition of Beauty in Women

A woman is often regarded as beautiful when she can easily captivate or attract attention by her presence. She may not be stylishly clad yet transforms even the most shapeless sack cloth into something slick and sexy because of her shape, her bearing and her natural glow. Hence, the definition of beauty to describe a woman will pertain to her ability to draw attention and elicit admiration by the naturalness of all her physical attributes.

To summarize all these essences of what we all regard as beautiful, the definition of beauty would be as:    

Anything that is pure and natural in whatever shape, size or form that emanates from something that is natural or possesses natural attributes unaffected by any artificiality; it can draw and attract us to the point of being mesmerized in awe and wonderment and leaves us with the feeling of warmth and comfort.
