How to Communicate Better — The Role of Transparency
When trying to tackle a problem on an issue at a Personal or professional level, a successful solution largely depends on how well we present the problem in a transparent manner. The level of transparency has a great role in communication. Having transparency in communication helps to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Transparency present in a letter or a document makes information more clear and dependable. This will have a convincing effect and brings helps the people on both sides closer and to focus on the core issue. Having facts and figures or chronology of events will make things more transparent.
Some circumstances demands lot of information to be squeezed into a letter or a document. When this is the case it is good to pay special attention to the words used and focus on how best the information could be organized without loosing clarity in a logical manner. May be one or two revisions are helpful here to make a letter more rich in information and transparent. Sometimes communication has to be “To the point” to bring the matter to the surface. It should first address the issue and then work around that issue taking into consideration all the possibilities to make things more clear and visible.
As communication has a start point and end point, the power of communication is determined on how well the information received and conceived at the end point. In other words, both the start and end points of communication has to be synchronized that passes the context and background information effectively to the recipient. When people communicate across the globe there are lots of barriers to overcome to have a better control on their communication. A clear understanding of different cultures and traditions are important for effective communication
