Mayans predicted that on December 21, 2012 would mark the end of this cycle – which is still repeated, and not the end of the world as it is believed. Therefore, all the myths about the Mayan calendar 2012 forecast due to erroneous interpretation of the Mayan prophecies. Simply, there is no record that the Mayan forecasts predict that 2012 marks the end of the world. It would be absurd to accuse one of the most advanced civilizations in the world for all the chaos that happens on the planet today.
