Our Perception of History is Incomplete
If humans are as old a species as historians and archeologist claim, how could our history be complete?
We are finding out more and more everyday about our ancient history and supposed pre-history of our time on this planet . Archaeologist are finding more and more evidence that our history goes back further then they could ever imagine . Take the city of Dwarka in India . The modern city sits on the western coast of India , but the legends of the ancient city of Dwarka are thousands of years old ( and considered a myth by modern day archaeologist ) Was recently discovered in the Gulf of Khambhat submerged under 131 feet of ocean . The strange thing about this is that modern day science says that 25,000 years ago all the humans on the planet where primitive hunter gatherers . The theory is that this city was submerged by the ocean 28,000 years ago . Indian legends say that the city of Dwarka was submerged six times before and spans not tens of thousands of years but one hundred thousand years . 100,000 years ago Cro-magnon man was supposed to be dwelling in Europe with Neanderthal man . The north and south American continent were still thought to be uninhabited by mankind yet . Smilodon ( the sabre tooth cat ) was still among the top predators in north and south America . This is not the only ancient structures they are finding below the waves . All over the world there are sites that defy both history and physics . Like the Nazca lines at Peru , pictures that can only really be seen from a high altitude . Lines in geometric shapes and what can only be described as art of the local animals. Many theories exist as to why an ancient people would go to such extreme measures to make pictures only those in the air could read . If you think that is baffling , its really nothing compared to the site called Puma Punku in Tiahuanaco . Expert engineers have visited the site and claim that machine precision beyond our currant technology built that incredible place . Up to 800 ton stones were use to construct it , and not only the great weight but also the way they were meant to fit together . These great stones were meant to lock together like a giant puzzle with no mortar holding them together . One more interesting fact about the stones used , they are composed of granite and diorite , two very hard stones . In fact so hard only diamond tipped tools would cut them . It is true that not all the evidence is understood , nor is its actual age accurately dated , but the fact that it still is here for us to explore should make us give serious thought to theories regarding our current outlook on what we think history and pre-history really is .
