Road and Traffic

Heavy traffic on the roads by the grow population. Many cars, the road full with motar cars and with other vehicles. Lorry trucks are going speedily.

Daily we have seeing any in some where many accidents on the road. Go with care don’t go speed by the vehicle. It is very dangers to us. So drive the carefully, It is safety to us. Follow the traffic rules in always with out miss. It is safe to all.

We know that vehicles move very fast on roads and unfortunately many accidents are also taking place. To avoid these accidents we have to flow traffic rules.

Main roads are divided by road- dividers for the convenience and safety of the traffic. Vehicles will move on the either sides of the road divider in opposite direction. Four wheelers and fast moving vehicles pass by the road divider.  Cycles and rickshaws etc. move along the footpath. Between the four wheelers and cycles move the scooters, motar cycles, etc. pedestrians must use the footpath.

For safety we must follow traffic rules very strictly. We should cross the road only at the appropriate place. We should obey the signals of the traffic police. We must not play on the roads. We should avoid talking on the roads while we are traveling.

In these days road ways play a very important role in the social economic development of the country. Roads connect villages, towns, cities and states. They are classified as national highways, state highways, zilla praja parished roads, mandal praja parished roads, etc.

Our country has one of the largest road networks in the world. The total road length of the country was nearly 20 lakhs kilometers.

National highways connected all important cities of the country. In other words they connect all states. The total length of the national highway system is some of thousands kilometers. These roads are maintained by the central government. State highways are maintained by the respective state governments. These roads connect all the district head quarters. Zilla praja parhisad roads connect mandal with district head quarters. These roads are maintained by zilla parished. 

The total length of the road system of our state is nearly 2 lakhs kilometers.

Border roads are built by border roads development board deportment. It aims at the economic development and strengthens the Defence preparedness in north and northeastern states. By 1992 it was constructed about 25 thousands kilometers of roads.

Roads in urban areas are well developed than that of the rural roads.

In metropolitan cities such as Delhi, Calcutta, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad we can find three different types of roads. They are maintained by the municipalities. Main roads connect all the important places of the city. They connect offices, shopping centers, industrial areas etc. these roads are usually crowded and full of traffic. These roads are also wide and smooth so that the vehicles can move fast.

There some roads which are not as wide as main roads. These roads connect different parts of the city with main roads. In residential areas we have streets. These streets connect residential areas or industrial areas with common roads which in turn are connected to the main roads.
