Teenage Pregnancy Welfare

This is an article about teenage pregnancy tragedies.

According to non profit organizations that focus on sexual and reproductive heath hazards research has shown that pregnant teens make their parents life worse and make society want to hide them in the shadows of the night. Pregnant teens don’t go to high school so they can’t even get a job as a receptionist .If they can’t call people what can they do.

Some social critics preach about how pregnancy shortens the capabilities of what a teenager is capable of doing. They say they won’t become doctors if they’re putting all their time and effort on non school related issues. They no longer have no boundaries.

The absence of getting married leaves the mother financially ruined. Young women are left with fathers who are out there making more babies. They don’t want to be tied down. Though in the past even though it’s hard to believe in the 1960’s when everyone was neat and trimmed collared shirt wearing with their helmet hair as stiff as their moods pregnancy rates were higher then. Things seemed so pleasant but in those days the father of the knocked up girl would get a shot gun on that boy who got his daughter pregnant and force them to get married.

Other social critics say that being poor is a direct result from teenage pregnancy. They couldn’t of possibly of being poor before. Information from the American Academy of Pediatrics report that most teens who have abortions are poor and with out options. Not every one has a mom and dad to pick up the pieces when you just shattered the glass. Teens that com from broken homes are left alone to fend for themselves. So they can’t ask their parents to baby sit while their in school.

These teenagers are seen as tragedies. They can’t take care of themselves let alone somebody else who shouldn’t have to have it so hard because of a few poor decisions. Teens need to take a pause before letting their almost always wrong instincts kick in. They shouldn’t let their boyfriends bully them into doing things their not ready for.

As a possible solution to society paying for the teen’s pregnancy through welfare Congress passed a reform bill that makes it really hard for pregnant teens to get welfare. Now even though this sounds horrible it a necessary evil. If welfare keeps bailing out teens who keep having babies it’s never going to stop because they’ll take the easy way out. Who wouldn’t press the easy button. This bill will make younger women use condoms. They’ll focus on education and less on who their going steady with. This bill is the only way to fix these tragedies.

Teenage pregnancy can be reduced even further by noticing who is and who isn’t getting pregnant and why. Teens from well off families are less likely to get pregnant then those from separated low income ones. The financially secured send their kids to far away lands and boarding schools where rules can’t escape their head. They may not thank their parents for sending them away but in the long run they’re better off this way.

I say that this is a bunch of bull s***! You must have one miserable life. What is the point of living life for an education? That is boring. Having a baby is much more enjoyable than having an education. Being educated doesn’t bring happiness anyways. Teenagers who get pregnant are not “tragedies”. However, the people that belittle pregnant teens and call them “tragedies” are the real “tragedy”.

    *cough*cough* Mr. Castle..

I think this is the truth, and the truth hurts. Education is EVERYTHING! In Missouri, The High school drop-out makes an average of $409 a week. Someone with a Bachelor’s degree or higher, makes an average of $1,013 a week. And in Missouri, a family of 4 needs AT LEAST $716 a week to pay for basic needs. Most teens who get pregnant and keep the child, have to sacrifice a lot of things and education seems to be a trend, and in my opinion it is not one you can afford to loose.
