Top 10 Largest Cities in the World
The top ten largest cities of the world boast an amazing combined population of more than 208,220,000 people. Are you living in one of these major cities?
SAO PAULO, Brazil (Population 19,140,000)

Sao Paulo is a shopping paradise with thousands of street side shops, flea markets, boutiques, restaurants and street markets to shop until you drop or go broke, whichever comes first. Besides, shopping tourists can visit museums, go to the theater, admire the architecture, or just enjoy a night out on the town at one of the bars or clubs in the area.
MEXICO CITY, Mexico (Population 18,430,000)

Mexico City is truly living history in motion with the old and the new entwined side-by-side and all for you to see and enjoy. The old parts of the city tourists can learn about the Aztecs at anyone of a dozen archaeological sites within the city limits and at the new parts of the city, tourists can go club hopping or take their children to Six Flags. The countryside is beautiful with beautiful weather all year long and great scenic views, especially at sunset or sunrise.
DELHI, India (Population 18,000,000)

Delhi is the capital city of India, which is the living testimony of the grandeur of the past and the charm of the present. It has been ruled by Emperors and conquered by Conquerors, but has benefited from all its rich historical past. Any tourists with an adventurous heart will discover Delhi to be an Indiana Jones style adventure with its breathtaking architecture such as the Humayun’s Tomb, Red Fort “Lal Qila”, Narayan Temple, Taj Mahal, Sufis of Nizamuddin and thousands of other ancient historical sites to explore.
OSAKA, Japan (Population 17,270,000)

Osaka is the second largest city in Japan with a long history of more than 1400 years of trade along its rivers and seaports. During World War 2, the city had been consistently bombed by the Americans that nearly destroyed one-third of its commercial, industrial and public facilities, but the strong-willed, positive thinking citizens of Osaka rebuilt the city into a modern day economic powerhouse; that is rich in history and culture as well as in industry and business. Osaka tourists can visit the Kaiyukan aquarium to see the wonders of 16-½ foot whale sharks swimming with a large variety of other sea life or take a food sampling tour in the food capital of Japan and eat strange new foods that your stomach will thank you for in the morning. Women can shop until their hearts are content, while their husbands take a historical journey into the treasures of the past at Shitennoji Temple and/or Osaka Castle.

This was an interesting blog about the largest cities around the world. I had no idea that these 10 cities have a population that is nearly as big as the population of the United States. And, much bigger than all of Canada and most other countries around the world. Wow, this is impressive numbers. Good job bring the facts to the rest of us.
I have also enjoyed reading the rest of your other articles, Nelson, too. Keep ‘on writing and I’ll keep on reading those that you write.

I have long been terrified of world over population, these cities are examples of a future I I do not want. I have flown over Mexico city a few times, and it always makes me sad.

Been to a number of the biggest cities in the world: lots of traffic, noise and skyscrapers and shopping malls and the same international brands, music, fashions you can get anywhere. Boring!
