Understanding How to Talk to Strangers; Especially- Women
This article gives a few tips of building conversation with random people( including the opposite gender).
For years building a conversation has been a tough nut for me. I have always been a quite person and a bit of a loner which I seem to enjoy to certain extent.
For those of us who have always struggled to open up a conversation with people, I decided to contribute to the community.
Here is how I start conversation with random people.
Tip 1: Stop over analysing the situation:
Many people think of hundreds of reasons not to talk to strangers. So give your self a moment to think about the positives only. Concentrate only on the good aspects of conversation. here is one to start with: meeting people is always a fun thing. People are fun no matter where they come from, what they do or how they act around you. (I’m not encouraging talking to muggers, you would know one when you see one).
Tip 2: Talk about anything:
As long as it does not spark controversy with other people. If I see a group or even a single person, that I think is interesting enough to talk to then I would go ahead and spark up a conversation based on my surroundings. If you are in a social gathering like a pub, then you can comment on the drinks that you just had, if you like it or not. You can think of a 100 openers like this one.
Tip 3: Talk to anyone and every one
That’s right! Talk to everyone around you. Its the best feeling you can get when you know how to start up a conversation and really connect with them- the people around you. People love to understood. That’s the way human beings were made. So go out and connect with people around you and see the positive results you get from it.
