While communicating we make several movements by our various body parts. These movements make honest participations in our communications.
While communicating we make several movements by our various body parts. These movements make honest participations in our communications. They add nonverbal signals and present the real state of our mood and mental state. The nonverbal signals made by the movements of our body parts are called “Kinesic Code”.
Nonverbal signals transmitted by the movement of our body trunk are called Body gestures. We make numerous body gestures. These gestures display our mood, help in drawing attention, emphasize our verbal statements and give the real pictures of our oral expressions.
Few body gestures are
Slumped Posture. It expresses low spirit and drooped state of mind.

Erect Posture. It reflects high spirit, energetic and confident state of a personality.
Lean Forward. It expresses openness, attentive, ready for assist and cooperation, taking interest.

Lean Away. It shows not attentive, defensive and not interested.
Right and proper usage of these body gestures can really help us in successful communications. Remember, these postures generally take place naturally. If these postures can be utilized intelligently, you can hide your mental state or mood successfully and can make your communications fruitful.
