An Observation of Human Behavior

I have lived 49 years and have seen a lot of stuff, a lot of really gross stuff. I have also seen a lot of behaviors in others that strike me as annoying or just uncalled for. Here are a few things that have either made me scratch my head and just wonder, and others that have just about made me puke. All in all, they are a part of our world, and like it or not we have to put up with them. I have included my own thoughts along with each instance.

1. The Low Rider

Do you have any pants that actually fit you, or do you really think your butt crack is something that nobody should ever miss seeing? Everyone say it with me… “Crack kills!”

2. The Boogie Shooter

Were you raised by wolves? Have you ever heard of a tissue??

3. The Butt Scratchers

Okay, we all get the occasional inappropriately timed itches, but a public restroom is a much better place for this rather gross reaction to an itch.

4. The Loogie Hockers

Just the thought of it makes me….*gag*. Go to the damn doctor and get something to take care of that instead of inflicting your mucous on everyone else!

5. The Hand Napkins

You really enjoy doing laundry don’t you? Especially those articles of clothing that are slathered with everything you ate throughout the day.

6. The Anti-Lip People

If your nose is plugged up, get sinus spray before you eat. If your teeth aren’t aligned properly as to allow you to chew with your mouth closed, see a dentist. Otherwise cover your mouth with a napkin before you cause a “puke-fest” in the restaurant.

7. The Fantasy League

Okay, so you’re in love, lust or whatever. Kissing is a way of showing affection and that’s great. We’ve all been there. But sometimes people get a little carried away and it can be hard to explain to a child that you might have in tote as to why that man was eating that woman’s face off. If you have a fantasy of being watched in public, go somewhere at night and where children are not likely to be.

8. The Honkers

I know we all get colds, and I know that due to colds we blow our noses a lot. But there are some people out there that just don’t get how gross it sounds to hear someone blowing their brains out into a tissue as you eat. This has happened to me so many times that I find it hard to eat in a restaurant. Go to the bathroom and do that if you need to. The table in the middle of a bunch of people trying to eat in NOT the right place.
