An Observation of Human Behaviors 2

More categories of human behaviors to ponder.

1. The Correctors

These are the people that feel that nobody has the right information about anything. Even if they are not experts in the area you were discussing, they know more than you and feel the need to correct you. These are also the people of whom will strike up and argument with God himself.

2. The Creepies

I’ve personally run into quite a few of these, hence the reason I don’t go out much. These are the people that for whatever reason will send a shiver down your spine just by glancing at you. Something just isn’t right, but you can’t figure out what it is, but your brain is taking over and moving you away from them.

3. The Window Watchers

These are the people that have an affair going on with themselves. When out in public they will find any shiny surface (primarily large windows) to stare at themselves. Although they can be amusing to watch when they stumble into something ahead of them due to looking in the window, it’s still annoying and VERY obvious to the rest of the world.

4. The One-Uppers

These are the people that cannot stand hearing a horrible story about something that happened to you without coming up with their own that sounds even worse. This habit usually begins with the words “That’s okay, you know what happened to me?”, followed by some exaggerated story of how they have 2 hearts and one stopped working the other day. The One- Uppers can also use this annoying habit in the opposite direction by making something great that happened to you sound like it was nothing special.

5. The Velcro People

I don’t think I have met one person in my life that hasn’t run into one of these. Velcro People are the ones that once you meet them, they become an extension of you. Everywhere you go, there they are. They will show up at your home uninvited with food in hand to tempt you into a friendship that you do not want.

While sometimes the Velcro People can be a bit sad to experience, most of them are just downright annoying.

6. The Mannequins

These are quickly becoming a large part of our society. The Mannequin’s are the people that never look the same 2 days in a row, as if standing in a store window and being completely overhauled each night with different clothing styles, different hair color and sometimes even different eye color. This can be a frightening type of person to be friends with when they pop in unexpectedly looking completely unfamiliar.

Nothing is worse, and honestly I mean nothing, than finding yourself in a one on one conversation with a one upper. Every time I find myself in one of these situations I feel like sticking a fork in my own eye.

LMAO! Sadly I think I am a one upper as far as messed up stories go but I don’t mean to be. I always think that if I give the person a story of my own it helps them know that when I say, “I know how you feel.” I really do. I forget that sometimes people just want someone to listen.
