Bucket List
Have you ever wanted to make a bucket list? Why not now?
Several years ago, Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman starred in a movie called “The Bucket List.” Essentially, the movie is about creating a list of things you would like to do before you die and then doing them! I’ve always thought this was such a neat idea. A lot of times I believe dreams are never reached because we simply don’t write them down. There’s something about starting a plan that makes you want to move forward with it.
I think it’s about time I think about my own bucket list, and I’d like to hear some things off of yours as well!
Here goes…
1. Become a well-respected author making a nice living at it.
2. Having peace in my heart that I am right with God the moment before I die.
3. Visiting every state in the United States and several romantic foreign countries
4. Raise my son to be a gentleman who loves the Lord
5. Tour the White House
6. Go to Hollywood
7. Sing at a respected event
8. Renew my vows in Celebration, Florida
9. Have peace with being the best person, mother, sister, wife, friend, and daughter I can be
10. Learn to cut and style hair
This just came off the top of my head today. I suppose for me it’s about those things I can do to leave my mark on the world to give to someone else and to be able to hold my head high as a person of honor. I’ll be excited to tweak this list as time marches on.

Good idea! Mine would start with travelling the full length of the First World War Western Front by bicycle, getting a book published and visiting Rome.

I made my bucket list last year. It had 26 items and I find that I tend to add another item every 3-4 months. One or two items came off after reconsideration.
My daughters are from Peru so naturally, Machu Pichu is on the list.
There’s a number of ways you can cross country ski in Vermont for a week with overnight stops at inns 20 miles apart. That’s on there.
I like to ice skate – there’s a canal in Quebec that’s five miles long that has cafes and restaurants set up outside all along. People skate the Rideau Canal

I tend to put activities that I want to do.
I do have things like improve my French, etc.
Your list takes a differect tack and it’s a good idea.
For me, your items are an ongoing lifetime activity not a goal of attainment. Just the different way we are wired spiritually.
Good article, though, get people thinking.

I see Greg kept submitting his article like I do sometimes when Triond says — there is an error on the page re-submit.
Anyway, your bucket list has many of the things I would put on mine. I often write my vision down on paper. I especially like your first one on the list.
