The basic idea on altruism is wonderful. The only objection concerns Neanderthals who would never survive without altruism for almost half a million years. Same applies as well to almost all ancestral forms. The greatest danger of extinction comes today from the world overpopulation, because as humanity we do not take, for political-economical reasons, any measures to control it by peaceful means. great article, i like the bit about the dog licking the cat at them adopting other animals, perhaps humans and dogs have the strongest Altruism tendancys and thats the reason we are ” best friends” as speices? x
