Caustic Kitsch: The Damaging Effects of Rude Signs

Are those, cute little nasty sayings on products, like t-shirt or plaques, ruining your life?

I have progressed and I no longer hate myself. Now, I want to have my life work out in a grand way. I want to help others to have their life work out in a grand way. Now, I still buy products with words or sayings on them, however, they are saying positive things. Around my house I have sayings like “Everything counts, be thankful”, “Believe the Unbelievable”, “We Manifest Miracles Everyday”. I have products that have single words like “Abundance”, “Gratitude”, and “Love”. Words can affect our well being at very deep levels. Be careful of the words you surround yourself with. The Caustic Kitsch of Cuteisms, on products, destroy us in so many ways. They have no place in our homes. They belong, where most will end up eventually, in the landfill. Ideally, they should not even be made.

Another excellent article, I can’t believe that people would use phrases like that, especially when they are so insulting (I’m not rude, your insigificant’ is just awful). Thanks for bringing this to our attention, positive affirmations work so much better for everyone. I’m glad you don’t hate yourself now too!

People laugh and dont think about what it means, I mean what it REALLY means.

I hope you peeled the sticker off your notebook

Mark, I agree with you. I see these tags and tee shirts every day and I wonder what these people are thinking about to have these caustic sayings on their clothing. What does it say about them. It really shows them up as rude and insulting.

very good share with a lot of personal insight. I don’t take t shirts or signs seriously myself but I know some people attempt to communicate that way. the trick is trying to figure out what they mean. do they really want to be left alone or do they need a friend.
