Children and Society

What  joy do you see when you see a child? You see innocence and unconditional love. Yet this child knows nothing about the world we’ve brought them into.It is up to us to teach them Love, Respect, Honor,and Integrity.However in modern day society this seems to be a thing of the past. So Many parents are so busy with their own lives that the children get put on the back burner and there is no time for them.Instead we give them a key to our home,all the modern day conveniences we can afford, fast food and a kiss on the cheek as we go out the door to do what ever we need to do.

So How do we expect them to learn all of the lessons our parents taught us? How do we expect them to know how to survive in a modern day world?We as parents need to be held responsible to our children.To turn off the televisions, shut down the computers, spend a few nights at home and talk to our children. Really get to know them and who they are.Listen as they speak to us and maybe they will listen to us. Show them by example what we want them to learn.

Respect for our co-workers, family, and friends.Love for our community,our neighbors and those who are a little less fortunate than we are.Honor for our country and thos who defend it. Integrity in how and with whom we do business. Show them that honesty is not just a thing of the past but is something to be proud of and not to be ignored.

Let your children be in and of your lives not just someting to be put   in the background and put on hold while life passes us by.Because if we do these things then maybe just maybe there may still be a future for us and our children. A world where there is Love, Honor and integrity.
