Common Misconceptions
A humorous detailing of five commonly held misconceptions.
5) THE TWO-PARTY SYSTEM
Like religion, this is another cruel fantasy imposed on us. It makes us think that we actually have a choice in who we elect to positions of power. The fix is in, people. There hasn’t been a clear choice in this matter since Bobby Kennedy was murdered in the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel. The most serious damage done to workers in this country was pulled off by Clinton, a populist Democrat (See NAFTA and CAFTA). Reagan decertified PATCO, the air traffic controllers union, signaling the death of all organized labor. The two party system is a bad joke. Look at the actual policies of the two parties.
You get a lot of differences on the smoke- and- mirrors issues like gay marriage, flag burning, and religious representations in public buildings. They tow the same line for anything that really matters. The war in Iraq…Free trade agreements…total lack of meaningful immigration reform, lack of meaningful political reform…Diebold elections…And it is only going to get worse! Quit whatever of the two major parties you are enrolled in, and join the Green Party. Vote for Ralph Nader, love him or hate him, because he is definitely not a part of this scam they are trying to pull on us. America can and should be a better place. If we let the powers that be manipulate us, we will become like India…with the most billionaires and the most starving people in the same country. Look around with your eyes wide open, It’s already happening!
