Does Civilization Affect Child Birth?
What is happening in our world …This essay was written after as visiting a friend in the hospital. There he had a newly baby boy. And I did took my time to study his baby boy and some others too…
It has
been a thing of the past, present and of the future…Child birth has always
been an heritage, a want to have, a precious jewel, the hope of the family or
better still we can say the hope of generation.
What
does child birth really means? Childbirth is the process of giving birth to a
child. The act of producing a copy of yourself.
While
we define civilization as an advanced stage of social development in culture
and way of life. Also on life generally.
We see
lot of things changing due to civilization.
Sometimes we wonder, Are we in a new world. The world
of the 80’s, 90’s, to my witness, has been a thing of a deep past compared to
the millennium. Civilization itself varies, we won’t be going deep but we
tackle the area of it, affecting birth in the world…
Here
are some views to prove my writing:-
Firstly,
In the past, after delivery, the baby
closes their eyes for 2or 3 days before he/she can open., Nowadays, baby
open their eyes immediately after birth, which is not in existence before..
Secondly,
after birth, the baby folds the fingers to his or her palm. It remains firmly
tight. Recent time, babies had been opening theirs to suck..
Lastly,
Our mothers then, do breast feed us a lot,, which allow us to have a normal and
healthier growth but it is unfortunate that at this jet world, cow milk
replaces the breast of mothers. Through this we have more young boys and girls
acting unworthily.
It
took me time to observe this strong recovery.
Civilization also called computer or jet age takes the blame and has
really turned things against the normal. We do not know what will happen next..
Also we have seen twin babies coming together to be one and it takes surgeon
special interventions to separate them to two…
With
my sees, I have come to a conclusive comment saying “Truly civilization really
does affect and changes child birth”
We
have to expect more changes. No one can predict the next. Only God knows where
civilization takes us…
