Envy: Bad Adviser

Envy is a common psychological phenomenon that makes many people suffer greatly, both for themselves and their victim envious, this is not mine but a statement of an expert in the field. So why are so envious? Why do we have to covet what others have?

The human condition is jealous from the past, for envy has been killed, wasted, and burned calunniado.

We do not support someone succeed or achieve its goals through their own initiative, we always have to look for a catch or make a catch, or just humorous comment made triumphant the person trying to feel bad or feel guilty about what we just have not known or not we could do or achieve on our own capacity.

Happens at school, work, sport, only envy not being able to reach the goals that we set and see how others perhaps with less capacity if they have achieved through their own efforts but that at this time is not valued, is valued more criticism, insult, be above the other even at the expense of upsetting the person envied.

I’m not saying that healthy envy is bad, quite the opposite is good and makes us better, but make no mistake this little envy there and reminded me a phrase I do not know who coined it and its author but that seems very accurate “If they were to fly would not be envious sun.”
