Fly Your Stars N’ Bars

Tea parties have been popping up all over the country in defiance of the new Obama administrations abuse of power and funneling money into pet projects.  It’s become a beacon of hope for some, and an outcry by others.  It’s a symbol of freedom and sovereignty. 

Tea bags have their place in history, but there’s one symbol that isn’t being used, the Confederate flag.

Many people link the Confederate flag with slavery.  Even our own schools teach us that the Civil War was about slavery, and very little to do with state rights.  Even Wikipedia takes it upon themselves to list slavery as the main cause of the Civil War.  How far we’ve fallen from the truth.

The Confederate flag of old, is the same symbol of freedom from Capital Hill.  It’s proof that Americans can have a different opinion than Washington D.C., and if they don’t abide by our rules, we’ll take the reigns our self.

The secession of states was brought on by higher taxes, and less voice in our own government.  It’s a symbol of free men, even free from our own tyrannical government.

If we plan to take on our own government and question their motives, then we’ll need hope.  Hope that it can be accomplished, and that it will be accomplished.  We only have to look at the Stars N Bars to see it’s an attainable goal.

The government is desperate for money, and they’ll take every last dollar they can get their hands on.  Fly your Confederate flags high and let the world know you’re not going to take it anymore.
