Gossip

Gossip, the globalized action that causes conflict and pitted embarrassment. It is everywhere, spread in every community, every school, and every job. Gossip is also in our school. People at Randolph speak behind each others back, creating invisible, distant conflicts. Students should not talk about each other behind their back. It is wrong and shouldn’t be tolerated. If you want to say something about someone at least have the guts to say it in there presents, rather than verbalizing behind their back. Randolph is parallel to Kino’s situation. After Kina finds the pearl gossip goes on everywhere. Jealousy went on everywhere because everyone was impressed, greedy, or jealous. This caused great conflict between Kino’s family and the people around him, even if it wasn’t physically, but by the word of the mouth. Gossip affects the world because it destroys people from the inside, not just physically. This is my opinion about gossip at Randolph.
